"When a surgical procedure left me crippled, no one but Jack Modesett would take my case. Jack fought for me and won a substantial verdict for me in the trial. I would recommend Jack to any one looking for a tough lawyer to handle their case."
- Matt Harlien
Ex-Houston Oiler Football Player

"I met Walter Williams when he took my deposition many years ago after he sued my company on behalf of his client. He impressed me with his preparation and understanding of the facts. After we resolved that case, I remembered what he was able to do and when I needed help, I hired Walter. He then proceeded to obtain judgment in our favor in excess of $1,000,000, plus attorney’s fees and litigation costs. I was impressed by his ability to get the other side to admit important facts without realizing they had just stepped in it. He remains our go-to attorney for all litigation matters."
- Rick Anderson – The Anderson Group

Case Successes

Walter Williams and Jack Modesett have built reputations of success at trial. Developing a trial strategy is hard work. When they take on a case, they staff it appropriately, determine the factual legal issues, and focus the case on those specific matters. Lawyers are storytellers. In order to best tell their clients’ stories, they spend countless hours learning about them, finding out the right themes to highlight in trial. Doing this up front means that from drafting the pleadings, answering discovery, taking depositions, and through closing argument, they are presenting coherent and consistent stories based on compelling themes. Below are a few samples of the variety of cases they have tried in recent years.
